Walk for Health 2018-19

Walk for Health is back this year and is taking place on 3rd Feb in Mumbai and 10th Feb in Delhi. This year will be bigger and better and will again see participation from a host of celebrities, cartoon characters and thousands of people with their friends and families. The event will be covered on Times Now. Apart from the 2km and 5k walk, gear up for the professional, timed and competitive 7 km Power Walk.

The Event is going to take place on 3rd Feb in Mumbai and 10th Feb in Delhi.


Power Walk-7 Km

  • Gates Open at 5 am
  • Flag Off at 6 am

5 km and 2 km Walk

  • Gates Open at 6:30 am
  • Flag Off at 7:30 am


Power Walk-7 Km

  • Gates open at 5:30 am
  • Flag Off at 6:30 am

5 km and 2 km Walk

  • Gates open at 6:30 am
  • 2km and 5km Flag Off at 7:45 am

You can reach the venue and do On-the-Spot registration also for free (for 2km and 5 km category). However, we would recommend that you register online first for your convenience. There is no On-the Spot registration for the Power Walk category.

All participants are expected to have the Book My Show QR code handy for faster BIB collection.

How long is the Walk?

There are three categories of Walk:

  • 7 km Power Walk (competitive and timed) for fitness enthusiasts and regular walkers
  • 5 km for adults
  • 2 km for children and senior citizens

What is the new Power Walk category?

Power Walk is a form of brisk walking. Max Bupa introduced competitive power walking for the first time in India last year at such a large scale. This category will be a 7km competitive and timed walk this year as well. We have also planned pre-event physical and digital training for this category, details of which will be sent to all registered Power Walk participants. The Rules for the same will also be sent to all registered Power Walk participants.

Is there any registration fees?

The 7 km Power Walk will have a registration fee as mentioned on Book My Show registration page(the fee would include a kit, t-shirt, sipper, capand RFID Bib).Registration is absolutely free for the 2 km and 5km walks. So get ready and get your friends and family along for an exciting and fun-filled Sunday.

Are any training camps planned for Power Walk?

Physical training camps will start 3-4 weeks prior to the event date. The schedule for physical training camps will be communicated to you through mail and also the Max Bupa Facebook page.

What all entertainment will be there apart from the Walk?

There are various things packed for an entertaining morning for your entire family.

Where do we park our vehicles?

What will we get?

For Power Walk Participants:

Pre walk:

  • Kit includes T-shirts with RFID Bib, Caps, Sipper

Post Walk/ Gratification:

  • Top 3 winners get cash prizes
  • Please refer for other category cash prizes
  • Basic refreshments
  • Finisher medals
  • E-certificates (after 5-7 working days)

5km and 2km participants who complete the Walk will be given Participation E-Certificates on their registered email id after the walk (in 5-7 working days). You can also enter and win in exciting contests for the participants at the venue.

Will there be health check-ups at the venue of the Walk?

Yes, health check-ups would be available for basic tests like BP, sugar etc. These would be on first come first serve basis; no prior appointments can be taken.
